cuddling with your pet or a teddy bear (no, i’m not kidding. give your stuffed animals some love)

taking a slow walk

reading a good book that lets you escape for a little while

lighting candles or turning fairy lights on 

building pillow forts 

changing into comfortable clothes

doodling or coloring 

go to rainymood.com (enough said) you can have this playing in the background while you work for a more relaxing effect

above anything else, take care of yourself. if you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed, take some time off as soon as possible. do something that takes your focus off your mood, even if it’s only for five minutes. give yourself the privilege of a blissful distraction.
