my cat caught a mouse outside and ran straight in before I could stop her so I yelled for my partner to get her. Kona picks up the cat and she drops the mouse and the mouse scurries away to parts unknown. instead of doing literally anything to help us catch the mouse she's been rolling around on the floor and sleeping in a completely different room than the mouse is probably in (งಠヮಠ)ง

1) brought a live mouse into my room

2) did not help me recapture it to be put outside

A corner of the dining room smells of beef jerky/slim jim.

I can't locate it and it's driving me crazy.
