Bernard as a character is SLOP 💔💔 there’s nothing interesting about him. like ok he was in like a cult or smth and knows tim’s identity… and dc has done what with that? there’s no conflict there’s no drama there’s no meaningful connection there’s Nothing. They were put together for the sole purpose of giving tim a boyfriend bcs he came out as bi. Like there was no reason to break tim and steph up OFF PANEL and have him suddenly be with Bernard it’s just so dumb.
Not to mention the way they treat Tim’s past love interests. Like omfg free any woman within 100 mile radius of B*rnard 😭💔 UGHHH ITS SO ANNOYINGGGG AND THERES NO MORE SECRET IDENTITY STUFF WITH TIM EVERYONE IS JUST ALLOWED TO KNOW LKKE WHO CARESSSS. ANYWAY. timb*rkon is yaoi slop FINAL BOSS. like i guarantee you no one who ships this actually cares about Kons character. The three of them are put together just so Tim can have two boyfriends. I get crackshipping and rarepairs and stuff but there should still be something there. Like I would think ur shipping these characters because you like them or think their relationship would be interesting yk, but timb*rkon is just using kon as an accessory to Tim. people love to act like kon doesn’t exist outside of his relationship with him and it’s so annoying.
Bernard and Kon have nothing in common outside of Tim and if the basis for you shipping them is because you like both of them with some other guy ITS BORINGGGG IM SORRY. Free kon from Tim Drake. Free him from the batfamily 💔. It’s like hes not allowed to do anything unless Tim is with him hes not a character without him. Kon is and has always been so much more than his relationship with Tim kon is a fully fleshed out character who can stand on his own he doesn’t need to be attached at the hip with Robin 24/7 he doesn’t need to have connections to him to be interesting. Kon isnt a cardboard cutout who you can just slap next to Tim whenever you feel like it.
The concept of kon in canon being treated like an object in his first two relationships and being used for their benefit while the fandom does the exact same thing to him. (Insert that one cynthia erivo gif i cant find)
I hate timb*rkon like a lot… it’s boring it sucks for kon because it’s never people who care about him that like it. Kon is treated like generic boyfriend #1 who you could swap with anyone instead of actually putting kon in this relationship.
