Veselé Vánoce (Merry Christmas)
Czech Fact #4
It was snowing today, but there won’t be snow during Christmas... like every year...
I’ve just hit 200 followers, thak you!
And I’m sorry for my inactivity, but I wasn’t at home last week and I’m leaving tomorrow again, but I hope I will be able to answer the asks and post some useless facts this weekend :)
I was tagged in an ask meme by @useless-polandfacts, thank you :)

1. What was the most interesting thing, which happened to you during last week?
Well, I had dead lines for ,like, ten projects last week and I still can’t believe I finished all of them in time :) Yes, that was very interesting
2. What is your favorite cultural thing (it may be a song, a movie, a book, a tradition etc.) connected with Poland? You can’t choose the Witcher~
Well, I love Sabaton and their songs about Poland (Uprising is one of my favourite song at all), Marie Curie-Sklodovska is my big inspiration (I am female interested in science) and well, Czech Republic has quite conected history with Poland :) Witcher is absolutly great btw
3. After waking up you realize you were thrown into this wondeful disco polo music video
What would you do in order to get out of it? If you won’t do it, you’ll have to stay in it forever.
Well, I woul probably go back to sleep and hope it is just a nightmare... No, this is actually realy funny, it looks a little bit like czech music videos in 80′s :)
4. What do you think about wisents (European bisons) - the truly magnificent creatures living in Eastern Poland?
I’ve never heart about it but it is really beautiful, majestatic creature. We have nothing like this in the Czech Republic :(
5. How do you think, why the relatively old vid linked below became one of the greatest virals in the history of Poland?
Idk, is Poland even real?
6. What do you think about lektor (the voice-over translation) in Poland? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voice-over_translation
Here’s an example - “Kung Fury” with Tomasz Knapik as lektor:
We have this in Czech Republic too and tbh, I used to hate it, but now I watch most movies just in English, so I haven’t seen something like this for like four years
7. What do you think about this:
Well, wtf???
8. What is the purpose of life, universe, and of the two gorgeous kittens playing with a big friendly dog?
Cute pictures on Tumblr, I suppose
9. How do you think - who is this:
Well, Polish version of Winnie the Pooh???
10. Do you think that people are good or bad in general?
I think that people are selfish in the first place and if we see them good or bed depends on the point of view
11. Try to write a simple sentence in Polish - but without using any vulgarisms (including the infamous word beginning with the letter ‘k’~).
Zuza szuka chleb w sklepe.
This one should be ok in Polish...

Hey there! I'm going to prague next month (again, i was there in summer and its so beautiful!!) and I wanted to know if there are places that are a must-see! I went to the Karlův most of course, but i didnt really see much else.
Well, generally I would recomend Václavské square (main square of Prague), Old Town Square with Astronomical Clock, St. Vitus Cathedral or Jewish quarer, but these are the most known tourist destinations in Prague and the only places I have been to. Actually, I have been to Prague just like four times at all, so I don’t know our capital very well. Maybe followers have some sugestions :)
I was tagged in an asks meme by @uselessslovakiafacts, thanks :)

4. Which country do you really want to visit (but never been to)
All countries in Northern Europe and Canada

6. Do you have any plants at home? Which ones?
Unfortunately no, not anymore. I used to have a cactus, but it died because I’ve forgotten to water it for several months...
7. Is your country’s most popular sport yours favourite as well?
The most popular sport in the Czech Republic is probably football and my favourite one is chess, so no :)
8. Colour you would never wear and why (please try to find something more creative than pink :D)
Well, like 99 % of my clothes are black (I have like 2 grey T-shirts and one red shirt) so any other colour... But if I had to pick just one, it would be probably yellow because it is too bright for me :D
9. Write random sentence in your native language.
Copak věta, ale jmelí!
10. Write random sentence in a language of one of your neighboring countries (or words, if you don’t know any)

11. Do you prefer mountains or lowlands (and why?)
Mountains, because of the weather. It’s not so hot during Summer and there’s more snow in Winter. Another thing is that I love forests and I live in a lowland with the nearest forest like 10 km far from my house and usually there are more forests in mountains...
My questions:
What do you like about living in your country?
Do you like coffe?
Are you cat or dog person?

How do you call cookies in your native language?
What is your favourite number? Why?
Would you like to study abroad? In which country?
How many languages do you speak?
Do you prefer honey or sugar in your food/drink?
In how many languages do you know the word ‘love’? Which ones?
What do you know about the Czech Republic?
I am tagging @useless-germanyfacts, @useless-polandfacts, @useless-austriafacts because they are our neighbours (I would tag @uselessslovakiafacts but I don’t know if I can since they tagged me first) and anyone else who wants to do this :)
Astronomical clocks of the Czech Republic
The first one is in Prague
It’s majestic, old and beautiful.
The second one is in Olomouc
It’s a little bit communistic but ok...
And then there is the one in Brno
Nobody knows how this one works, but some people call it literally a dick...
Czech Fact #3
We should’t stopped throwing politicians out of the windows.
