Rule 2: Answer the questions the person who tagged you has written and write 11 new ones
Rule 3: Tag 11 new people and link them to your post
Rule 4: Let them know you’ve tagged them
I am tagging: amagicbeyondall/yourethedevilindisguise, uselessfourleafclover, hiddletash, padapls, thegreenwordsmithgalleries, balladofmeandmy-cats, theartofsherlocking (a lot of the people I'm following have already been tagged in these, so I'm only picking seven)
Okay, the questions:
1. Last thing you ate: I forget what they're called, but I think it was something along the lines of a trifle bakewell?
2. Favourite fictional character: This is unfair. One does not simply choose a favourite fictional character. I'll go with Gandalf the Grey, because his badass level is off the chart and also Ian McKellan is a man after my own heart.
3. What nationality are you: English.
4. Best Christmas present this year: I got a Kindle, but I also really appreciate the gorgeous Barnes & Noble edition of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey that was given to me by my sister.
5. Favourite tumblr-thing this year: post/38638804684/dwalin-ofthehouseofdurin-boysofdisney I cried for about ten minutes straight when I first saw this post.
6. Favourite Fandom: The fabulous Hobbit set decorator fandom.
7. Ever kissed a person of the same sex: Nope.
8. Episode of a TV show you cried most at: I sobbed at "That Still Small Voice" (Once Upon A Time) when the Blue Fairy said that the little boy's name was Geppetto. I've cried more when watching other things, but nothing has so quickly reduced me to tears.
9. Last movie you’ve seen in the cinema: The Hobbit!
10. Zodiac sign: Gemini
11. Last Holiday you’ve been on: Hell, I haven't been on holiday in a long while -- not since Holland when I was around the age of thirteen.
12. What’s the last book you read? The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.
13. What’s your favourite sort of pie? I don't like pie. Whoops.
14. Something you found out about yourself in 2012 that you really like? I am able to withstand prolonged social interaction despite how terribly it irritates me?
15. What was your favourite tv show when you were a little child? Pokémon.
16. If you have to choose between going with the Doctor and going with Sherlock, what would you choose? They would both drive me mad! But I think there'd be one antisocial misanthrope too many if I went with Sherlock, and the Doctor could take me to meet Virgil so I could warn him about Augustus being a little shit and overruling his request to have the Aeneid destroyed after his death. Or I could just finish it for him.
17. What is your hidden guilty pleasure? Floral clothing. Don't ask.
18. A hidden talent of yours? My undoubted ability to recognise that I have no talents.
19. What’s your nationality? English.
20. What are your hobbies? Writing and music. The internet is a hobby, too, right?
21. Favourite episode of your favourite tv show, ever? NOOOOO. I don't even have a single favourite television show! But I'm going to go random for a moment and say that I really enjoyed the second season finale of Game of Thrones.
22. What time is it currently where you live? 2:06 p.m.
23. What was the last video game that you played?
24. Who is your favourite musician/band?
25. Which of the seven deadly sins do you think would best represent you?
26. Tea or coffee?
27. If you were going to write a book, what would it be about?
28. Name a character in a book who you wish the author hadn't killed off.
29. Favourite item of clothing?
30. Do you have any siblings?
31. Which song never fails to make you cry?
32. Detail a memory which makes you smile.
33. Are you a good artist? If not, do you wish that you were?
