Heyo! I decided to make another 'make your own' style PSD and put it up for sale on my Ko-Fi page. It is a pay what you want file, so you may download for free if you like, though I do appreciate tips <3
The file is designed to be used for a beginner that may not know how to draw but REALLY wants to make a character. I feel that pain, I used to play with flash games when I was little to make your own ponies and the like! Everything is labled and locked for easy coloring so anyone using any program that can open PSD files can use it. There are no fancy layer styles so it should be able to be opened and used in GIMP, which is a free editing program.
Anyway I hope you guys like and have fun with it! If you do make characters out of it please show me I would love to see them :,3
Moving from the basic-but-janky Noteworthy Composer to some of the fancier notation software, like Sibelius and Dorico, I have been repeatedly frustrated by the software not doing things because it's been programmed to not-do them.
There is something much more honest about NWC when you are told "no, the software cannot do what you want. Here are some janky approximations" because the guy never programmed in the functionality. In general, I much prefer it to "here are 16 workarounds because the programmers have decided that there is no way you'd possibly want to do that" despite dozens of forum threads to the contrary.
