Ram: *sigh* I just want to date someone.
Clu, coming in: Ram my handsome friend, do you wan-
Ram: I just want to date Tron.
Now that Hell Week (KY3DE, riding club banquet, and KY Derby festival) is over, it's time to focus on my Tron build.
I have sketches, I have supplies, I just need to buckle down and work on them. I've got the disk already, courtesy of @swift2568, and need to work on lighting it. I have ideas on what I want to do, and the technology exists. I just need to put it all together.
I've got Ambition (tm) of making this a Holy Shit cosplay, and we'll see if my ability matches my ambition. I'm calling the build Prox, because it needs a name, and I want to throw a couple Starset easter eggs in there.
I can do this. There'll be a lot of money spent, a lot of cursing, and a lot of learning. But I can do this.
Okay!
I'm finally recovered enough from last week to tell y'all about it. What a mess, but what a fun mess.
First was the Defender Kentucky 3 Day Event. This is one of the most prestigious events in the eventing world, and also one of the most challenging for horse and rider. It's a 4* and a 5* combined, with the 4* running in the morning and the 5* in the afternoon. Eventing has been described as a triathlon for the insane, and they're really not wrong.
My tv has an idle screen, like most. But in some cases, it defaults to pretty videos with gentle music. "ZenLIFE" is what it's called. Somehow, the cats manage to turn it on every time. Me, I've yet to figure it out. I've said I'm bad with tech. That's how bad: the cats are better at tech than me. Khajiit, Minnie, and Drogo are all sitting and watching the pretty zen videos of flowers blooming in slow motion that one of the little furry bastards turned on. It is nice, though.
Today was an absolute doozy of a migraine. I haven't had one that bad in a while. I woke up with it in full blown attack. I didn't even have predrome symptoms last night, beyond being really tired (which we've all had lately due to some bug one of my coworkers dragged in), so it really caught me off guard. Even with rescue meds, I was a good six hours in recovering enough to think. I think I'm past the postdrome now, so it should all be good. I'm really, really, really wanting that massage I've got scheduled, but I can't move it up. Ah well.
I have Adulted today. I did not wanna. But I did. Now I want a candy bar. One should always get a candy bar after making phone calls.
