I've gotten so used to being called Avi, that now whenever comes in and calls me Avian, it feels like the equivalent of a angry girlfriend marching in and yelling her boyfriends full name infront of his entire family

I like the name James, but theres another name I’ve considered for a long while.

Grey

maybe lengthened to Greyson.

Old childhood accounts that I no longer have access to (accounts that have been lost to the passage of time) had “grey” in the usernames.

It’s always felt nice to be called Grey.

I also have an OC with that name….which is an issue.

If I went by Grey, whose name would it be? Mine, or my OC’s?

Usually I’d vent on a sideblog I’ve got but I ain’t feeling like it right now.

I stilll…don’t quite know my gender. Transman? Nonbinary? Genderfluid? I ain’t got a damn clue.

Username Change!

Hey, just wanna let everyone know that I did change my username! It is still me, just with a new username. And the username does hold lore for my characters custom universe because of course it does, might do a post about that soon

Kinda been thinking about changing my username lately since 'slugcat' is obviously rain world and I don't think I wanna have any fandom references in my username because long term that might become an issue if I ever actually make art my job.

I already have a new username in mind but I'm really nervous to change it T-T

I'm really confused because you go by both shade slugcat and pastel slugcat? Are you one person or two people? Sorry I just don't understand

Hey, sorry for the confusion but I am one person. I go by Pastel Slugcat and Shade Slugcat. The username story is actually sorta confusing but I'll do my best to explain.

So basically it started on Wattpad which was my first social media under this name. Despite the display name being changed to 'Pastel Slugcat' the username was still 'huntehunterslime' because the account used to belong to my little cousin who was a huge Slime Rancher fan at the time and she had a hunterslime OC named Huntie. When I expressed interest in having a Wattpad account she just gave me the password and stuff to her account because it already had lots of cool fics saved and she didn't use the account anymore. The username has now been changed to 'Shadeslugcat' and I have no ties to my cousin's username anymore.

I have Slugcat after both of my usernames because I started off creating only Rainworld content (I do a lot of things now but like my username and have no plans to change it) so that's where that came from. And I genuinely have no idea where the branch off of being both Shade and Pastel came from but it's a thing now.

I hope this explains it and sorry for all the rambling!

From Xxi-luv-applesxX to XxapplechuxX.

I got Core on DeviantArt for a month which gave me the opportunity to change it, so I did. applechu is taken on both websites so this is the closest thing.  applechu is my paigeeworld username and it is much simpler :)
