Can I ask for a trick or treat with Ushijima and Moniwa? I love your writing, and thank you <3
TRICK-OR-TREAT
come trick-or-treat in my inbox requesting ficcies and I’ll either treat you to some fluff or humor or trick you with a horribly twisted sad AU (I’ll use a random generator to pick trick or treat)
send me “trick or treat” and a character(s) or ship in my inbox and I’ll write you a short little thing (I’ll be doing these all of October so send away!)
thank you for the kind words!

Wakatoshi should have known better. He does know better, actually, but he has never been able to say no to Kaname’s pouting face. He’s thankful that Kaname doesn’t pull it out often but at the same time it makes it even harder to say no since it’s not like it’s an everyday occurrence. He has no immunity to the pouts, at least that’s what Satori tells him and after five years of being with Kaname he is beginning to believe that Satori is right. He really does have zero defense against the pout.
No defense whatsoever. Which is how he finds himself in situations like this.
He never should have even brought Kaname to the store with him. He glances back down the aisle with a sigh; Kaname is standing in front of a display of blankets, staring at them with the kind awe and love that most people reserve for baby animals and their significant others and the like.
Wakatoshi takes a steadying breath and retraces his steps until he’s at Kaname’s side.
“Kaname.”
“I want it.”
“Kaname,” he says sternly.
“No I want it.” Kaname looks up at him with a pout.
Zero. Defense. One hit K.O.
“We don’t need anymore blankets,” he says. He already knows they’re going home with one. Maybe even two. But he can still put up an attempt at a fight.
Or something.
“But babe,” Kaname gives him a smile. “This one has pumpkins on it. And that one has cute little cats wearing witch hats.”
A compromise maybe? He already knows they’re going home with the blankets. But maybe…
“We should get those two.” Kaname’s eyes light up. “Move some blankets around and replace those ones on the bed that are getting worn out.” Kaname’s eyes narrow as he considers Wakatoshi’s suggestion. “Maybe even replace a bunch of the old blankets with nice, soft new ones.”
Kaname’s gaze darts between Wakatoshi and the blankets a few times, face scrunched up in contemplation.
“I know exactly what you’re doing Ushijima Wakatoshi.” Kaname grabs the two blankets he wants and stalks to the end of the aisle. “I know exactly what you’re doing and I’m gonna take the bribe for what it is.”
Wakatoshi smiles and follows Kaname. He offers to carry the blankets but Kaname just stares him down and clutches the blankets a little tighter against his chest.

There are four blankets on the bed.
Wakatoshi turns to Kaname with a sigh and Kaname’s lips twist into a pout.
Four blankets on the bed seems like a reasonable amount. It is fall after all.
