i've finally gotten around to my big reread of one piece! i'm doing the whole thing! and i've got to say, usopp was a lot more reliable on little garden than i remembered him being! with mr 3 mr 5 ms valentine and ms goldenweek there and only him and luffy left to fight, Usopp really showed his mettle as a future brave warrior of the sea! i don't think luffy would've succeeded without him that time! well done for a weakling! i feel oddly proud of him now. TvT my long nosed son.

Usopp is super useful in the little things even pre-ts. I remember kinda rewatching and being glad he was there x and y times bc no one paid attention to certain things bc they were busy being crazy and fighting. He’s also fixing the Merry all the time before Franky joins and does a good job. Beats Perona too which is just hilarious. Sogekings his way through W7, shooting the key at Robin. beats Daddy The Father, most importantly.

he’s definitely the member with the biggest post-ts glow up (and the only one with an actually better design) but that doesnt mean he was useless before.
