We love having the Philadelphia Flyers Junior Team out at Flyers Skate Zone! They have two games coming up this weekend and everyone can get their tickets now at http://pointstreaksites.com/view/usphlflyers/tickets-231
Home Game Weekend
This weekend, the Kings have back to back game days where they face the CT Yankees in the Kings newly constructed and recently finished state of the art rink.
Good luck to the Kings!
Weekend Update
Last weekend, the Kings played at New England Sports Center at the Junior Bruins Showcase where they lost 5-1 against the Jersey Hitmen and won 3-2 against the Philadelphia Flyers and P.A.L. Islanders. All three games were filled with hard hits, fast paced skating, amazing goal scorning abilities, and good goaltending.
Here's the main rink in which the Kings played their games. I love this rink because it has a huge jumbotron hanging from the ceiling that details each and every aspect of the game with live up to date information.
Here's the team on the ice doing a little pregame pep talk before the puck drops. Paul is #1 and you can see him on the left hand side.
Some pre game warmups where the team takes practice shots at the goalies and where they stretch out their muscles for ten minutes before the start of the game.
And of course, a picture of Paul's hockey bag which smells to high heavens...which left a everlasting smell in our car. To be honest, I've learned to love the smell of hockey sweat because a hockey player isn't a hockey player unless they are covered in sweat. It's part of them and a player wouldn't be who they are without it.
And finally, a photo of Paul and I before we had headed out for the past weekend.
Weekend Update
This weekend is going to jam packed with hockey games for Paul and his team. First on the list is a 2:00 p.m. Game at Merrimack College against the Islander's Hockey Club. On Saturday, the team is busing up to play the Portland Pirates, and on Sunday the team will face the Bay State Breakers in their home opener at the Foxboro Sports Center.
