On March 22, 1942, one of the most brutal massacres of the Serbian people by the Ustashi took place. Bestial torture and slaughter of Serbian elderly people and children, rape of Serbian women and girls in the places of Stari Brod and Miloševići. The exact number has not been determined, but it is estimated that 6,000 Serbian civilians were killed by the villains from the Black Legion and the Muslim militia, led by the executioner Jure Francetić. People deliberately drowned in the Drina River while fleeing from them. The most massive killing was carried out today, on the feast of the NDH, but it did not end until mid-May. The Ustashi task was to consolidate their power on the eastern border of the NDH and cleanse this area of Serbs. In Višegrad, the crossing for fleeing Serbs was blocked by Italian soldiers, who demanded money to cross into Serbia, and so they set off towards Stari Brod and Miloševići, where the Ustashi and Muslim militia were waiting for them. The Serbs were attacked, killed, tortured, thrown into the water and raped. Some of the Serbs were saved by the Germans and Serbian soldiers, under the command of General Milan Nedić.

Бестијално иживљавање и клање српских стараца и деце,силовање српских жена и девојака у местима Стари Брод и Милошевићи.Тачан број није утврђен али се процењује да су убили 6.000 српских цивила,зликовци из Црне Легије и муслиманске милиције,које је предводио крвник Јуре Францетић. Људи се намерно утапали у Дрини бежећи од њих. Најмасовније убијање је извршено данас на празник Младенце али се тек средином маја завршило. усташки задатак је био да учврсте своју власт на источној граници НДХ и овај простор очисте од Срба. У Вишеграду су прелаз бежећим Србима блокирали војници Италије,који су тражили паре да се пребаце у Србију и тако кренуше према Старом Броду и Милошевићима где су их чекале усташе и муслиманска милиција. Србе су нападали,убијали,мучили, бацали у воду и силовали. Део Срба су спасили Немци и српски војници,под командом генерала Милана Недића.
