I used orchids as the background (by iva castro on pixabay) because the city has 32 native species of orchids (as told on the photocard page xD). Also, since it's a uni city, I want them both to have the vibe of university students!

New competition on goalkeeper position.

Antonia Knupfer will leave the FF UPS Jena. The goalkeeper, who only came to the Thuringian women in the summer, had approached the club with the request to dissolve their contract in order to be able to orient themselves otherwise. The Bundesliga side presented the player in the prospect of meeting the request, as long as the vacant position could be filled immediately. "We have complied with the request of Antonia, as we have luckily found a replacement," says managing director Jens Ross for personnel changes at the FF UPS.

The women's football USV Jena is pleased at this point to announce the commitment of the Canadian national goalkeeper Erin McLeod. The 34-year-old comes to Jena with the experience of the women's football upper houses of the USA and Sweden and was most recently active at the Swedish top club FC Rosengård. Thus, FF-UPS head coach Katja Greulich is no stranger to her. "I am pleased to add such a player as Erin. She is one of the best in the world and now she will wear the jersey of the FF USV Jena ", says Greulich.

The experience from more than one hundred international matches for Canada could also help the FF USV in the upcoming Bundesliga matches, which in some cases have a KO game character. CEO Jens Roß is pleased about the new commitment. "We are convinced that the competition on goalkeeping will be further fueled by the commitment of Erin McLeod."

Erin McLeod also strengthened the North American wing in the squad of FF UPS Jena. After Shannon Woeller, Tiffany Cameron and Amelia Pietrangelo she is already the fourth Canadian in the Bundesliga team of the Saalestädterinnen.

Antonia Knupfer, whose Jenaer chapter comes to an end, thanks the FF UPS Jena for their commitment and wishes on their further way all the best.
