I feel a great sense of responsibility. And it is probably why I’m so hard on myself and everybody else. Because there are a lot of people relying on us to do well and to do it the right way, and I don’t want to disappoint anybody. [...] And I know that when I’m standing on that stage, there are little girls around America whose fathers and mothers are pointing at that to tell those little girls what they can do.
Kamala Harris, Vice President Elect of the United States of America
lol.
Americans would really benefit from having sausage sizzles at their polling stations tbh. $3.50 for a sausage in bread and a can of drink would do wonders for morale I reckon.
Stop saying there's no way Donald Trump could become Us Prez
Clearly there is a way. He's behind in the polls, but well within striking distance. To put it in perspective, a higher percentage of Americans are voting for him than Australians who voted for the Liberal/National coalition who WON the last Australian election. CRAZIER/LESS PROBABLE THINGS HAVE HAPPENED! Brexit! Leicester City winning the EPL! Kyle Sandilands continued ratings success! That Melboring guy winning the Bachelorette! So yeah there's probably nothing we can do about it hey but yeah...stop saying there's no way he'll win. And instead start preparing for the inevitable decline of the post-war liberal world order in case he does
How’s the US presidential debate going? Well, factcheck.org is down if that’s any indication of how depressing it is right now
