It's been amazing 10 years🤍, full of joy creativity and determination. Of course, not without its dark sides, but I hope none of us let it define what Undertale is and wider community it has built :)
Personally, undertale was THE game of my childhood, i think it actually defined me as a person...! My tastes in media and the things I like and aspire to ever since. It showed me what games could actually be, what amazing stories could be told and powerful lessons taught! And of course what god-like music composed and art drawn😼
Undertale characters captivated me from the beginning - so colourful, different and each one teaching and showing you something that, 9 year old me never imagined. I love every aspect of that game - truly, i can't express just how obsessed i was back when it came our, lol😂
Looking back, i can't even count how many times I finished pacifist(i think i cried almost every time at the ending), and how many fan stories, comics, animations and characters i encountered and was inspired by, and how i found so many amazing and creative people through the community your game created, Toby...
I hope the fandom keeps growing, in both senses. We have so much ahead of us, each something of their own, but i hope that the thing that connects us all is love for Undertale and what we bring to it. I hope to see so many new stories, interpretations, maybe even theories, and 500 new skeletons :D (which i will try to contribute to)
Maybe my experiences are not as profound, creatively productive or literally life-changing as of some other fans, but even so i can't thank you enough and explain how much this game means to me, bc i don't think i simply have enough words for it... im gonna go cry happy tears now😔
