Uta! Project Third Generation Auditions
Uta! Project is a Hello! Project and other music cover group that is similar in structure to Hello! Project and associated acts. Uta! Project is a cover group whose motto is "Fun through song". Uta! Project strives to have fun while encouraging participation and broadened horizons in various parts of music production. Uta! Project is open to all people who enjoy singing, regardless of voice type, style, or ability.
Uta! Project is currently holding auditions for its third generation. This audition will be open from May 4, 2016, until June 25, 2016. At present, there are two main groups in Uta! Project, Otome Jidai, which covers primarily Morning Musume music, and E-GAO Syndicate, which covers primarily Berryz Koubou music. All new members will be sorted into one or the other of these main groups, with the possibility of joining both after they have been in the project for a little while. Other groups will be formed under the Uta! Project label in the future.
