#Repost @redacrefarm • • • • • • Red Acre Farm CSA Madam Shakespeare was born here on the farm 11 years ago she is still the best mouser, gopher finder and has brought us a rabbit or two on occasion.Okay and yes a beautiful bird sometimes. She is more than just a mouser or farm cat, she is more like a dog. She not only hops up on my bed at night but crawls under the covers and snuggles with me. When I awake in the morning she meows until I walk with her to her food bowl or anxiously awaits for something from the fridge so we can eat breakfast together before we go out to do chores. She follows me out the door and happily trots right along side me. She’s always there when we are harvesting, sitting on our back or curled up in a row. She was there the first day I milked Matilda, my first cow.And that sweet cow let her jump right up on her back and then Shakespeare went to sleep. If it is a desk day she will try to sit on my keyboard or lap until she gets comfy on the desk or next to me or on a chair.
