You got onto your tiptoes, stretching as hard as you could to try and reach the top shelf. You had wanted to make yourself a matcha latte and forgot your giant of a boyfriend loved matcha too. He’d put it as far out of reach as he could as if it was intentional. You grunted with effort as you kept trying to stretch. The counter to his kitchen wasn’t long enough to give you purchase to kneel on it or stand on it. Natsuki wandered into the kitchen and laughed at the sight. 

“You’re so cute, my little fairy!” He cooed as he stepped beside you. Natsuki reached up and grabbed the little tin of matcha powder like it was nothing. 

“Thank you, handsome.” You replied. Again, you had to reach up onto your tiptoes to kiss his cheek. “Handsome? You think I’m handsome?” He asked as he wrapped his arms around your waist and hoisted you up. A squeak escaped you. “Of course I do!” You replied as he gently spun you.

“If your my fairy, I guess that makes me the handsome fairy prince, huh?”

Explaining HAYATO was an experience. You casually asked about your boyfriend's past persona, and Haruka came running. With a stack of fan merch and some lengthy infodumping later, you are now well aware about the happy-go-lucky era. Imagine the look on Tokiya's face when he walks in on the two of you binging his variety shows as his alter ego. You've never seen a door shut so fast!

Do-May-Stic Day 10. Back of the closet (Ranmaru Kurosaki x reader)!

Entry no. 10! I've kinda missed writing for Utapri. It's a fairly dead fandom, I know, but it holds a special place in my heart for various reasons (mainly connections to my teen years and the fact it was originally released on my birthday!) Please enjoy, my fellow Utapri fans! @domaystic

“Can I borrow a top, babe?” You called the other room. 

“Of course, just don’t drop ice cream down it again.” Ranmaru called back. You opened his wardrobe doors, humming as you the little light clicked above you. You browsed his array of band shirts. Half of them you’d never heard of. But as you reached to grab a Ramones top, something glittery caught your eye.

Looking down, you noticed something shiny peeking through a box at the bottom. You grabbed the intended top, grabbed the box and laid them both on the bed.

The bed creaked as you sat on the bed. Opening the unassuming box, you gasped as you saw a treasure trove of random items. A pile of photos with the top one being a picture of you and Ranmaru kissing in a sunny park. A newspaper with the front headline “KUROSAKI RANMARU SPOTTED WITH NEW FLING?” accompanied by a blurry image of Ranmaru holding you by the waist. Tickets littered the box, all to concerts, cinema trips and days out. The glittering item that caught your attention was a necklace you had bought Ranmaru for your 1 year anniversary. A cheesy little couple's necklace, his being a little guitar saying “you rock my world”.

You grasped the drum around your neck that said “you are my heartbeat”. The memories flooded back as you giggled through silly pictures and fond moments. But at the bottom of the box, your heart stopped. A small box.

Footsteps drew closer. In a panic, you put the items hurriedly back into the box, shoved the box back into the wardrobe and grabbed the shirt. Ranmaru stood in the doorway, tilting his head at your flustered expression. You giggled as you held up the top. 

“Found one.”
