Not gonna lie, I wasn't a big fan of the design for Synth's cheerleader outfit ( from Season 4 Episode: Bro, Team! Bro! ) so I decided to have some fun and reimagine a redesign. The colour scheme already reminded me a lot of Utena's school outfit so I adjusted to lean more into that while trying to keep the original as well ;D

Inktober 2018 Day 30: Happy Halloween, everyone!🎃 🎃 🎃

Younger Bia and Nike, ready for some epic trick-or-treating as ever!... Or, at least, more than I am. Gosh, I feel old.

Bia, of course, went with something simple but broodish: duelist's uniform from Utena. Nike, on the other hand, had to be more dazzling, but also fun. And so, here you have it: Toby's magician clothes from Unico in the Island of Magic (go see it, it's one of Sanrio's best anime features)! Also, I didn't choose just for the sake of fun. In fact, the very idea of creating a character like her came to me after watching said movie! Ooh, I gotta post the whole story someday..

Bia: We don't talk about it.

Me: Oh, quit being a killjoy! Who's the artist around here?

Bia: The Ancient Greek?

Did this one in about an hour and a half, much quicker than my extended works.

A lot of personal symbolism.

Not the same as the ‘soul portrait’ stuff I do, this is based on my physical appearance.
