Arided/Azem & Hades/Emet-Selch

Drawn well before Endwalker came out, Quinnen's Ancient Arided I originally imagined more delicate and small and pretty company plaguing Hades. They're still a plague on Hades but I'd like to redraw this sometime with updated designs for both :)

Darjhalis she/her Elyssia's origin and Ancient. A researcher and scholar of flora and seedkin concepts. Name inspired by the Corona Borealis and the word Darželis with the inspiration/meaning of a flower garden. (More info/spoilers under readmore)

She found herself in better company with nature and seedkin than with her fellows. She had a personal greenhouse she treasured and was often seen accompanied by little mandragoras, not unlike a duckhen and her ducklings. She was finely attuned with nature and had an affinity for it which lends itself to Elyssia's odd affinity for nature despite her general lack of interest.

Elyssia for example has a knack for element based conjury and her presence resonates with nature-affiliated creatures like the sylphs but Elyssia herself wouldn't consider herself very green-oriented…however in recent years she's begun to explore that side of her potential.

I designed Darjhalis before Endwalker and her outfit was more Ascian and 2B inspired. I don't think I'll change it as I do not like the Sophist's Robe style of clothing xD

Original Ancient Azem Design - Arided (he/they) Arided is my Azem, Quinnen's Ancient who was a free roaming spirit that couldn't really ever be tied down. He was fond of cloudkin concepts and his most known familiar was a giant peacock with a terrible attitude to anyone but its master. I have since redesigned them to be more masc and muscular but I have not completed a good drawing of him that way yet...He was close with Hades and Hythlodaeus, dipping into a blurry friends with benefits situationship but he also develops a codependent relationship with Hermes after the events of Ktisis Hyperboreia which comes between them and Hades along with the Final Days.

Then and Now

Quinnen, Elyssia, and Dancir as younger teenagers and then as their current selves in an ambiguous late 20s potentially early 30s because I don't concern myself with an exact timeline LOL. Quinnen was and will remain a sweetie pie. Elyssia was a grumpy huffy arrogant little cat and now she's a huffy arrogant elegant cat! Dancir was a rough and tumble wildling who learned how to play the game and grew into a very suave and cool type.

Quinnen Hairstyles Headshots of Quinnen I fell in love with though my favorite of course is top left <3 I love his shaggy fluffy anime duck-butt hair! But he's cute with it cut short which I imagine he tamed it a little more when he was younger and then maybe at some point forgot to cut it much while adventuring!

Pokemon DND Party! A few years ago my dear best friend ran a little homebrew oneshot pokemon x final fantasy dnd game for me and a couple friends! My Minccino paladin was joined by a Scyther bard and a Mimikyu black mage lovingly named Scraps after losing their true name to the Fae! It was such a fun game!
