am I really letting go?
Snapchat ko last night was about death penalty, and I was explaining how I'm so against it. Then one of my closest friends, replied, na “wagka nga diyan! go du30″ something like that. eh puta wala naman akong na mention na Duterte sa snapchat ko. I was just gathering my thoughts about death penalty para pag nag debate nako sa philo class may ideas naman ako. Didn’t mean to offend a Duterte supporter, and she’s my friend ayokong awayin siya. Hindi lang naman si Duterte yung presidential candidate na pro death penalty, bruh wag masyadong affected para sa mayor mo. Ang point ko lang is killing is wrong and it violates human rights. Death penalty promotes that killing is legal in our country and I think that it is a form of revenge, not justice. When we legalize death penalty, does that make us the bigger criminal than the criminal itself? and isn’t it enough that we are killing animals? trees? nature? now we have to kill our own kind naman, we don’t have to stoop down to that level. These criminals are also human beings, give them a second chance, or let the karma do the thing, and what if they are just falsely accused? so we can just kill some innocent, ganon ganon na lang. Can we just stop killing each other and live peacefully. U know there are a lot of people fighting for their lives, but then here we are taking lives away.
