Bahrain Grand Prix Prestige Party
Another weekend, another amazing journey, Thank you All Our Daze for sending us on this amazing trip!
This time High On Heels travelled to sunny Bahrain to celebrate the prestigious Formula 1 Grand Prix at the exclusive Dragon Hotel & Resort.
The Dragon Hotel and Resort is beautiful and we were very lucky to stay in one of their elite Villas, a gorgeous 4 bedroom suite spread out over 3 floors with a private pool and terrace,
The setting was a sublime pool party, sponsored by Smirnoff and overlooking the beautiful sea.
Lucky enough to have a few hours off, the day saw us soak up some rays and enjoy the fine dining on offer at the hotel.
After lunch it was time to Soundcheck and get the show on track! (pun intended) The line up saw Lettice on Violin, Jazz on Percussion, Yasmin on Saxophone, Kyra on vocals and of course Miss DJ Kelly Marie on the decks.
As the Bahranian sun set, the anticipation rose as party goers flocked to the venue to enjoy the Grand Prix celebrations.
An hour or so later (and after a healthy dose of pampering) the girls were ready to take to the stage.
Mixing a blend of new and old school soulful house and dance classics, High On Heels rocked the venue and had everyone on their feet. Lettice and Yasmin had the crowd applauding with their amazing solos and not even a power cut midset could short circuit the energy! A definite success!
It was sad to leave Bahrain so soon but atleast we seemed to have brought back the sunny weather with us to London! Thank you again to The Dragon Hotel, ohlala, eventions and Smirnoff for having us! A big shout out to UTrack, who streamed the event live and had us sign their shirt!
