Another gorgeous and amazing Utrecht Pride this year! No face paint because it was way too hot but there were enough rainbows to go around!
The queer unicorns group app for preparations was appropriately queer and rainbowy and has made me happy all week!
Finding a place to watch Pride by the canal that was both wheelchair accessible and doable for those of us that have sensory overload issues
Starting my day with a rainbow yoga video
Dressing up with @raafling and @rianlikesstuff
Feeling brave enough to wear a crop top!
@minervacerridwen putting shinies on everyone
@tanouska 's mad flag game
All those people on the boats who were SO happy to see the ace and pan flags
The boat full of queer high school students! There were more than last year and it gets me every time!
@elenabeth painting rainbow stuff in people!
Several boats specially from organisations for people of colour!
People borrowing my rainbow stuff to wear for pride!
The boat for the city of Utrecht which had so many different flags including a lot of trans representation. This whole thing makes me so proud of my city!
All the teachers, police officers, doctors, train personnel, soccer players, IT nerds, politicians and gamers representing! It's so important that queer people in these professions are seen, both because it's important to see that they are welcome in these professions and to allow other people, who need them, to see that there are queer folk in these professions and that they can safely approach them
Cuddles! So many cuddles!
So many organisations do things for queer people and that's amazing
We had one (1) token hetero in our group :D (she is amazing and I love her so much!)
There was a boat from an elderly home and this one lady in a wheelchair caught my eye and grinned from ear to ear as she waved her flag. Made me tear up.
So many colours and sparkles and beautiful queer people all over!
The boat from an organisation for mentally disabled people and the fact that they actually had residents along. They looked sup damn proud and happy to be there!
So much intersectional stuff all over!
Playing 'spot the queers' while getting dinner
Hungarian chimney cake with ice! OMG!
Sitting on the grass with @maartje-sue and @rianlikesstuff, having deep conversations while everyone around us was partying in the sunset
There was an actual rainbow in the sky!
Gods I love pride so much and every year I find myself thinking I should engage with the queer community more.
Thank everyone who made this day amazing and beautiful and colourful, you are all amazing and I love you.
