I appreciate him being in my life so much.

I appreciate how meeting him wasn't the whole movie worthy passion filled whirl wind that teetered out after a couple of months.

It was slow building and patient, and I got to wade deeper into him instead of crashing headfirst into unfamiliar waters. 

I always thought I had horrible issues with trust and anxiety when really I just kept entering relationships too quickly with people I didn't really know. 

But after a year of figuring each other out, I get to make-out with my best friend and be completely myself with someone who I know absolutely adores me and supports me.  

It's unreal. I'm so lucky.

I was happy before, but this is such a uniquely beautiful feeling.
