I just finished playing the undertale yellow mod shades of justice and 10/10 would heavily reccomend especially if you love dalv or martlet (DAAAAALLLLLLVVV)

Dalv content RAAAHHH!! I kept forgetting I could screenshot on my laptop so I kept taking photos of my screen like an idiot until the last one (DALV!!!! DRAWING!!! TWO OF MY FAVORITE THINGS!!!)

So I uhh, messed around a bit with UTY's .win file, wasn't able to get the debug menu working, but I WAS able to make a skuffed 'Kananko time' mod, and the wild east is really funny

Okay, in all seriousness, I'm making a small (personal) mod for UTY replacing Clover with Astrea, my justice soul OC

This has nothing to do with the menu music I made. That's for something different.

I'm using UndertaleModTool for the mod

Everything seems to be going fine up until snowdin...

I tried to see if the strings had anything to do with it (because i changed the dialogue strings to say "astrea" instead of "clover"), but nope. For whatever reason, UTY doesnt like astrea's snowdin sprites.

I dont know why!

i did mess with the save to see if that had anything to do with it, the normal sprites work fine, but i'll need to do a bit more testing to see if other sprites have this issue too.

If anyone knows what is going on, I'd appreciate some assistance.

Edit:

It's something to do with shaders. I decided to have a peak at the code, It's gotta be shaders. Will test and figure out what's up.

okay you guys really liked the uty flowey ai doodle... should i draw more uty characters saying quotes from the mod 😭 if so send in your requests via ask!!! this shit is hilarious

Today I somehow broke the battle system, even though i didnt touch it.

This happens after 1 turn, (regardless of the battle) and I don't know why or how!

I don't know what's going on!

Has anyone else encountered this?

Edit: Just to be clear, this is a MODDED version of undertale yellow

The mod specifically is something I'm working on, and this bug came about as a result of me doing something in the code somewhere. That's what I'm trying to figure out.

Prematurely prepping an itch page for my Astrea mod Made this for the cover image

You'll all see for yourselves when the mod is done and the page is up But I put more effort into making it look nice than I thought I would be. And that's filling me with motivation to keep going and finish it so i can get it out to everyone Added a screenshot feature just to get screenshots for the page too. Gamemaker has a function specifically for that which is pretty cool I'm also recording footage as I go for a trailer that i'll post when i'm done too

Finished altering the dialogue from the shufflers mini game. Up next I'll be focusing on the NPCs found in and around the Honeydew Resort (Including Elsie)
