I’m so fucking sick of this family

Mom asked me not to say anything to my grandma about her going to the hospital, but she’s been intubated and they’re keeping her until Monday, so what the hell was I supposed to do? Wait until she cared enough to ask?

And predictably, grandma freaked the fuck out and called my aunt, and my aunt wanted to talk to me, so grandma gave me her phone on speaker phone and they both took down all the info I had (icu bed #, phone number, and nurse’s name). I then had to text my aunt to be like “hey actually she HAS been intubated, but she didn’t want me to tell grandma”

I don’t know if they icu will give either of them any info, bc afaik mom only put me down as the emergency contact, so that might be my saving grace here. I have no idea if my aunt plans on telling my grandma about the intubation, but at this point it’s out of my control. I did what I could.

If my grandma gave half a fuck about my mom, she probably would have asked where she was HOURS AGO, since, you know, she left at 6am this morning. And predictably, my aunt is having a fucking fit since the hospital won’t let her see her, since she’s not vaccinated. Lmao
