I hope you’re all having a good day! I just wanna let y’all know about some upcoming updates. My spring semester is starting (yaaaaaaaay grad school can you hear my enthusiasm) so!
Please see check under the cut for a few updates for a few changes:
- I’m putting a hold on requests. I may reblog the odd ask meme, but requests as their own entity are on a pause.
- The stories I’ve been posting on a weekly basis may be posted bi-weekly. If this happens, I’ll post the morning-of to let you guys know that a chapter’s going to be coming later than usual.
- I’ll leave my ask box open, but I just wanna be honest that I may be slower in responding than usual.
…That’s basically it yeah.
As always I just wanna thank everyone that’s taken the time to read anything that I’ve posted. There is a lot of amazing content on this site, a ton of amazing writers, and it means a lot to me that you wonderful people read things that I post, so. Thank you!
OK so I have an Idea for a fairytale that’s essentially like this guy who’s a king or something sells a bit of his soul for like money or some other material possession but he’s fine because he still got most of his soul left but then he keeps doing this over and over again until he doesn’t have an more soul left and he becomes empty and can’t enjoy the stuff he bartered for anymore so he donates all his stuff and money to the orphanage and sense the stuff it’s no longer in his possession he gets his soul back and now he lives as a happy yet humble peasant who donates any extra money he has to good causes but eventually it gets out of hand and he starts donating too much of his money out of trauma and fear that if he does it constantly give to good causes he’ll like die or something and people keep telling him that it’s OK to save up enough money for food and stuff but he doesn’t listen and eventually it gets so bad that he gives away all of his money and he dies of starvation.
I have no idea what the moral of this was supposed to be but yeah
