The spam robots are out to get me

My new story got a comment from one of the new, sophisticated spammer bots: a logged-in user who commented on a specific line from the fic and then replied to my reply in a way that made sense.

Their third comment both asked me to step off-platform and went haywire:

I have, of course, made a report. Now I feel bad for having fallen for the bot bait, and hope the other comments were genuine. And I am sharing this story to remind people just how sophisticated these things are getting.
