I did a dumb recently. Whenever I visit my best friend's house we've basically made it a ritual that she hands me a benadryl pill, of the little pink variety, because she has a house full of animals. I went to her place the other day to sleepover; I arrive, I'm bombarded by an army of pugs who were happy to see me, I take the pill she hands me like clockwork, and instantly regret it. I had taken a 24hour allergy pill that morning because I have two little kittens now- of which I'm also allergic to. When I say I hadn't fought to stay awake so hard in my life. It was like my eyelids were being cranked shut, I was so tired.
