which skeleton are you planning on apping for? ♔ i’m going to play obsidian ! he’ll be one of the last skeletons we release (along w/ onyx) but he’s a jaded lycan, pretty high up in the liberation with suitcases full of his own baggage that he’s trying to work through.

favorite piece of vampire/werewolf media? ♔ underworlds definitely! there were also these vampire books i read when i was younger but i CANNOT remember the names of them. they were my FIRST introduction into the world of vampires.

why  won’t  you  let  him  go ?

                  HE  IS  A  MONSTER ; it  was  a  cold  fact,  woven  deep  into  his  skeleton  &  tangled  in  his  veins.  He  is  grotesque,  ugly,  sick.  His  touch  was  unholy.  Each  breath  he  exhaled  tasted  of  the  screams  of  an  angel  slaughtered  by  his  hand  –  and  there  was  not  a  damn  thing  he  could  do  about  it.  Death  followed  his  movements  like  an  old  friend,  waiting  patiently  in  the  darkened  corners  before  following  his  commands  without  remorse  nor  mercy.  His  jaw  flexed,  giving  way  to  a  maw  stained  crimson  with  the  blood  of  thousands.  His  bruised  knuckles  bore  the  scars  of  one  hundred  murders  and  more.  

                    His  heavy  heart  carried  with  it  the  spirits  of  those  whom  he  executed  without  a  second  thought,  a  moment  of  hesitation.  He  was  EMPTY,  a  shell  –  for  what  kind  of  monster  could  walk  like  a  man,  talk  like  a  man,  touch  like  a  man…  but  kill  like  a  GOD?  

                   Each  kiss  tasted  of  cigarettes  and  death,  like  an  ashen  prayer,  a  desperate  plea.  When  he  touched  you,  it  felt  like  HEAVEN  &  HELL.  Each  ragged  growl,  each  husky  whisper  felt  hot  like  the  searing  burn  of  the  smoking  gun  he  touted  like  a  trophy.  It  almost  helped  you  forget  what  he  was,  how  you  let  a  monster  make  you  arch  and  scream  in  rapture.  He  was  never  a  good  man  –  if  he  was  a  man  at  all.  He  was  something  ugly  and  foul,  and  you  allowed  him  to  taint  you.

                   HE  IS  A  MONSTER  –  and  yet,  you  still  let  him  taste  you.  You  let  him  whisper  soft,  honeyed  words  into  your  ear.  You  let  him  hold  you,  cradle  you  against  his  hollow  chest  –  and  for  a  moment,  you  fooled  yourself  into  believing  that  you  heard  the  steady  thrum  of  a  heartbeat.  PERHAPS  HE’S  HUMAN  AFTER  ALL,  you  whisper  as  his  claws  dug  deep  into  your  flesh,  teeth  penetrating  the  tender  hollow  of  your  throat  until  you’re  bleeding  out  in  his  grasp.  He’ll  destroy  you  –  because  that’s  what  a  monster  does.  A  monster  will  eat.  It  will  devour.  It  will  destroy  everything  in  its  path  –  even  if  he  swears  to  love  it,  protect  it,  for  nothing  is  SAFE  from  a  godless  creature.

                   A  beast  is  a  beast  –  and  he  became  the  creature  dwelling  in  his  ribcage  years  ago.  He  traded  his  humanity  for  immortality,  his  humility  for  divinity,  his  empathy  for  invincibility.  You  tried  to  ignore  it.  You  tried  to  nurture  the  fleeting  glimpse  of  vulnerability  you  caught  in  the  glassiness  of  his  cobalt-blue  eyes.  You  tried  and  you  tried  and  you  tried  –  but  nothing  will  change  what  he  is.  What  he  became.  What  he  chose  to  embrace.  

                     You  are  but  a  pawn  in  his  plane  of  reality.  A  toy,  a  fleeting,  mortal  distraction  –  and  before  long,  the  creature  within  him  will  devour  you.  HE  IS  A  MONSTER,  and  you  are  his  victim.  Leave  him  before  it’s  too  late.  Run  before  he  tears  you  apart.  Even  if  you  love  him,  you  cannot  fix  what  was  never  broken  –  and  he  is  no  exception.
