"Your cheeks are so pink and rosy." He said and smiled, coat zipped until the very top, the puffy fabric swallowing his neck and a bit of his chin, so that his head was popping out of the clothes like a little puppy, dipping his head out of a bed fort.
"Cheeks can't be pink. Red maybe, but not pink, Felix." You replied, while staring at his undeniably pink cheeks, enhanced by the little sparkles in his eyes, that were of course merely reflections of the white snow underneath.
"They can." he whined and reached for your hand with his tiny one, little snowflakes surrounding him and softly landing on his hair, making him look like an actual angel, which he was in your eyes. Standing here and smiling, so joyful only due to the weather, the world sparkling around him, tho never being able to outshine him.
He had been so adorable earlier, when he had some hot chocolate with you and buried his head so deep in the chocolate, that the milk foam covered his upper lip and the tip of his nose. You had tried to show him where the access was, but he was so confused, that you reached out to wipe the foam away from his little pointy nose and he smiled and you melted like the chocolate in front of you.
When you had left the house he had covered your face with his soft hands and handed you a present in form of matching gloves, that also matched the big jacket he was wearing and seeing his smile as he handed you the matching gift was even more precious than the gift itself, making you smile so bright. Little did he know it hadn't been the gift that made you this happy...
"There's both you know." he said and smiled brightly. "Pink cheeks and red cheeks. Right now your cheeks are pink." he said and pinched the tender skin, letting the pretty sparkles in his eyes appear again.
"But I can make them red." he promised and reached out his small hands to hold yours, gaze not leaving your eyes for a second. Felix moved his hands to your cheeks and cupped your face, looking at you so lovingly, this alone could have made you cry. You nodded, giving him permission to do whatever he wanted and he reached out for a kiss. A kiss that was softer than the snowflakes around you, sweeter than the chocolate you had before, and that you loved more than the gift from your adorable boyfriend, but not than said boy, because you couldn't possibly love anything more than Lee Felix.
