Foods in this area are Mediterranean in style, sharing a quality with Turkish eats, based on the freshest locally grown culinary spices & grains. This open space family owned restaurant, @uzeataustin is a must try! Myself, grown up on similar foods, I started out with Mors, a fruit drink of the region & Borscht soup, one of my favorites. Taken in by the rich herbs & delicacy of the meat in the beet soup! Had their traditional Uzbek bread, topped in an egg glaze, the cabbage slaw & triangle shaped Cheburek. The main dishes were the lamb shashlik & the vegetarian version with rice. I found the dishes & appetizers to be well made, very light & tasteful, with the vibrant ingredients. Such a great place, offering seating for large groups as well! Brought some food home to share with my family, now they want to go too!
