Lover sobbed. They hadn’t meant to fight with Hero before Hero went off to fight with Villain. And now Hero lay in a broken, crumpled heap in the center of City Centre. Lover had warned Hero that Villain was too strong. That Villain would cheat and do anything to kill Hero. But Hero hadn’t listened. And now. Now they were dead. Hero’s skin was pale, colorless, as Villain had beaten them and bled them dry.
Lover pulled more of the fallen Hero into their lap, tucking their head under their chin. “You’re so stupid, Hero. Why did you do this?” Lover sobbed into Hero’s hair.
Lover kissed Hero’s forehead and continued to stroke their hair, rocking them both as Lover cried. Hero was gone, leaving Villain to wreck havoc on City Centre. Leaving Lover alone and in an unending night.
Hero shuddered in Lover’s arms and sucked in a gasp of air. Color returned to their cheeks and lips. Their eyes opened and they glanced up into Lover’s gaze. “Lover,” they breathed.
“H-Hero?” Hero had been lifeless in their arms just moments before. How was this possible?
“Told you,” Hero gasped again. “I would come back to life. But only for you, my love. Only for you.” Hero put their hand on Lover’s cheek. Lover bent down and kissed Hero, pouring their heart’s desperate hope that this was true into the kiss.

About Jordan:
Born and Raised in the King neighborhood of Portland
Middle Child, has a younger sister and older sister. Comes from a pretty big family.
Never caused too much troubles a kid. He was more on the quiet side but he got along with most people. He was usually hanging with his core group of friends but often had his headphones on.
He was known amongst his friends for making the best mixtapes and introducing them all to their favorite music. (Many people who have dated him have had various mixes given and dedicated to them.)
Jordan spent a year in New York for college before he came back home after his father had an accident. He transferred to a state college and studied business because he felt like it was more practical and he could actually make some good money for him and his family.
Since graduation, Jordan has often felt like he’s just been floating through life. His father recovered, his oldest sister moved away and his youngest sister just started in college but Jodan doesn’t feel he’s changed much.
Though he has moved out of his parents house and into a one bedroom apartment. It’s usually cluttered with records and his DJ equipment. He DJs college and house parties mostly but he’s trying to break out and do bigger parties with bigger paychecks.
He also works part time at Gator’s Pub & Eatery.
Personality wise, Jordan is fairly easy to get along with and is always down for good conversation. He can usually be found with his headphones on, smoking a joint and drinking a beer if he’s not working. Anyone who walks by his apartment will always hear him blasting music.
He’s a good contact to have if you’re looking for a good party or just a good place to kickback. He’s definitely more of a night owl and it’s not uncommon to find him hanging outside on his balcony late at night.
