I'm thinking about how much happier v!Owen and v!Legundo could be if they had not been so full of self hatred. If Owen had allowed himself to love another, he could have been kind to Legundo. Legundo could have realized that to truly help Owen, he had to stay alive, with him. That him dying would only make things worse for Owen, and then worse for everyone else as a domino effect. Legundo could have taught Owen his worth, how he didnt deserve to chase after vengeance that was unattainable, and vice versa, and they could have either been dead as vampires, or dead, and at peace, at the very least. Once Owen had died one day, his soul at peace, he, and Legundo, could have joined Louis in the afterlife.
