The faded toy car rolled on its wheels backwards at a much slower rate after it hit the wall. Em softly bit her lip as she picked it up, brushing some dust and dirt off with her fingers, wondering if she missed putting it away, or if it fell from the shelf. She wasn't sure.

Her hand closed around the car, and she dropped it into her pants pocket.
