She had a very busy day today and did a lot of walking and she didn't really notice the toll it took on her until she got home and collapsed in the bed. that's when her knees started to throb and suddenly she felt very cold and heavy which she quickly remedies with a mountain of spare blankets until she falls asleep. Comfortably save for the blood slowly trickling from her nose on the pillows.

The smile on her face when he said those words was enough to make his heart skip a beat, and truly Steve could never get enough of that smile. He wasn't entirely sure what it was about Nancy Wheeler that made him so much of a goddamn sap, but here he was, and honestly he couldn't care less. So maybe he was a sap. She was worth it.

"With that in mind," he began, his voice slightly wheedling, the hint of a sheepish expression forming on his face and the hope that she wouldn't smack him on the shoulder for what he was about to say. It wasn't that he'd done anything stupid, not particularly anyway.

          their busy schedules have never really bothered him--of course there are days where he particularly misses blake and wishes she were there with him, but he’d never even dream of asking her to stop. if anything, it only makes him cherish the time that they have together even more. they could be apart for weeks, months even, and still manage to fall back into the same routine once they’re reunited; it’s that seamlessness that reminds him over and over again that blake is perfect for him, that no matter what, at the end of the day, they’ll always have each other.

          he’s definitely been enjoying her presence over the last couple of days, despite having some work to do at home. just knowing she’s there is often enough for him, but the faunus seems intent on gathering his attention tonight the second he’s no longer focused on his work, stopping him as soon as he stands up from his desk to drape herself effortlessly against him. the scholar’s head tips slightly to one side as azure hues survey the sight of her in his clothing, a pleased little smirk tugging at the corner of his lips while hands find her waist, smoothing slowly upward along her sides and then dipping back down again to slip his fingers beneath the shirt where it hangs over her thighs.

          “oh, do you?” he teases lightly, lips finding the crook of her neck and pressing soft kisses against the skin there, “i knew i shouldn’t have let you take that shower alone. poor baby,” a hand slips between her legs, trailing up the huntress’s inner thigh, “i can take care of you, moró. are you sure you only want one?”
