Trying to Save Christmas

It was finally December and much like always if you looked at the Kaiba Corp building or mansion you would see no such sign of such an event. Seto was quite known for hating this time of year - even if their profits tended to go rather high. He hates the cold, hated how snow could make everything stop or slow down and most of all he hated all the twinkling lights and tacky decorations that the city seemed to enjoy throwing in his face.

He may now own the majority of the city buy even Seto Kaiba could not cancel Christmas. Mokuba simply would not allow it. The younger Kaiba was currently wondering through the mansion, trying to find a certain new member of staff. Both she and Seto seemed to be taking turns on who could look the most depressed. It was slowly beginning to drive him a little crazy if he was to be honest.

Kaiba meanwhile had locked himself in the office so was quite oblivious to the bags of decorations and the large tree that had been carried into the main living area by newer members of staff who didn't wish to upset Mokuba.

The younger brother though wanted to find Estelle. Wanted to make at least one of the grumpies try to enjoy the festival season. Besides, no matter how bad of a person she or Seto seemed to think she was - Mokuba thought otherwise.

🎄 – our muses decorate for Christmas (For Seto/Mokuba?)

It begun with a happy little squeal, one of the many servants running after an excited Mokuba, who had tinsel flying behind him as he ran down the corridors. Seto stepped back to let his brother and the poor woman rush by him, shaking his head a little as he made his way into the main living area, glancing around at the decorations and large tree that had been placed within the room - ready to be put up. Of course his staff would have done it themselves but Mokuba was very insistent on doing it themselves. “Nick” Seto called out, having next to no idea as to where his ‘guest’ may be. The house was rather large but Nick didn’t seem to ever be too far from Mokuba - who had now sprinted into the room and had stayed still to allow the poor servant to brush off tinsel from his hair and to place the tinsel on the sofa. She gave a small box to both brothers before walking quickly out the room, Seto shaking his head. “You having fun torturing the staff?”“Well if you didn’t tell her to make me stop-”“Aha sure. Now help me untangle these darn lights”

There was a soft knock on the CEO's door before entering. "Sir? There's a 'Mutou Yuugi' in the lobby waiting for you..." Len quietly said as he watched the CEO working on something new. -- {{ Len }}

As usual the office was pretty dark even this early in the morning, Seto having pulled all the blinds shut as to block out any distractions as he looked over the latest report to be sent his way. He sighed, using two fingers to rub at the top of his head for a few moments, feeling the threat of a headache coming on already.

“And I do remember saying that I did not wish to be disturbed” he spoke towards the report, glancing up for a moment towards Len, before returning back to reading the useless reports. All of this was information he already knew. He had thought hiring the best would help his research move forward - but as always it seemed better to do it himself.

He placed the report to one side, pushing himself to his feet and turning to open the blinds. If he was to have guests, then he will need to let a bit of light inside - or deal with unwanted questions full of sickly concern. “Fine. Let him in then”
