Mallory couldn't believe her eyes. She stared at the teenage girl, eyes wide and unblinking. Did she really just... did she really just make up what she assumed was a force field? If that was the case, then the girl was obviously a Super.
They both were stranded in an elevator, trapped in there until further help would come. If it weren't for the girl's abilities though, Mallory would've been dead.
❝Wow... I... Wow.❞ Was all she really had to say about it.

❝__Really? Do you seriously believe that is going to work?❞
Mallory often was blunt with others about what she wanted. She wasn't afraid of hurting a feelings or so, though in this case she really didn't care for holding back. Nancy Tremaine is an upcoming Fashion Designer, desperate to get her name out there, especially in a high end Fashion Magazine, much like the one she ran. So many were like her though and Mallory had seen them come and go by her office.
She sat behind her desk, legs crossed and pen in hand, her expression giving away that she was very much unimpressed with the woman in front of her.
❝Yawn.❞ She imitated the gesture as well, looking down at her desk. ❝Anything else to impress me with or is that all?❞

Fairy godmother was a very strange term to the Dark Fae. Never had she really considered herself as one, especially not towards Aurora. Her main goal was to make sure everything went to plan, but somehow she managed to be looked up by the young princess.
Diaval often teased her about it, but Maleficent would ignore it and not really think too much about it. It was ironic how she, the woman who would eventually ruin the girl's life, became her closest friend. Friend... Such a strange term as well. She never had actual friends. Diaval was a servant, a companion, but a friend? No... And she didn't dare think about that man. So why would that man's daughter be her friend? Much less her godmother?
The mistress looked up once more, seeing Aurora occupied with the creatures of the Moor, as she always was whenever they spent time together. It was intriguing the way Aurora seemed to belong here, despite being human. Curiosity burned her mind and Maleficent found that she could no longer keep silent about it.
❝Aurora.❞ She called the Princess. ❝Come here. I must ask you something.❞

Never did she really have any need to visit the Mermaid's Lair. Only when it was necessary and when it was Maleficent's job to check the harmony between all of non-human beings. That was a long time ago, when she was the one to become Queen of the Moors.
Although Aurora took the title, the Fae didn't necessarily trust the girl with mermaids. After all, they were known to be vicious towards humans and their hatred for them was pure. It was highly understandable though. They were captured, sometimes killed, for their tears, because humans were selfish in that way.
Maleficent has since then somewhat forgiven the humans, but the mermaids have not.
She took it upon herself to fly over to the Mermaid's Lair, far across the land, all alone this time. She had no need for Diaval to be by her side this time. This time, this was business she had to take care of for herself.
As if his hangover couldn't get any worse, he now had to deal with an angry Jack Sparrow... Wait, he meant, Captain Jack Sparrow (since the man was so particular about his title).
❝Look, it was just rum, alright?❞
"I said go away. What part of that wasn't clear to you?"

Loki pulled away from the… enthusiastic kiss, holding her gingerly by her shoulders. “I’m flattered, truly,” he told her, somewhat bemused. “May I ask who you are and why you would do such a thing?”
"Oh, I'm sorry- I just... I got some incredible news, and- my name's Nancy." A bit out of breath, she smiled wide. "Don't you know how it feels when you get such amazing news that you just have to kiss somebody?"
