Wrapping her arms tightly around Judith, the blonde carries the one year old girl down the block for a short walk. It’s a little late out, sometime after dinner, but they haven’t gotten a chance to go for their daily walk today, and Beth doesn’t want to screw up Judith’s schedule completely.
She would’ve taken her stroller, but one of the screws came loose and the wheel hasn’t been sitting right when it was used. The blonde doesn’t want to take that chance in case anything might happen. Of course, it might not be such a big deal, either, but to her it was. Judith means so much to her.
Reaching up, Beth fixes the little pink sweater on the girl as they stop at an intersection. “Lemme jus’ fix it for ‘ya,” Beth whispers to the baby, cradling Judith in one arm as she pulls the girl’s sleeve down. Judith giggles as she taps Beth’s hand happily. Beth returns the smile and presses a gentle kiss to the baby’s temple while they continue on their walk.
Inside the walls of Alexandria were different at night - they were quiet, something Beth still isn’t able to get used to…was it bad that some nights she just wanted to be out in the woods again? For a moment, the blonde stops, sighs and looks up at one of the giant steel walls that’s between her and the outside world.
The only time she went outside these days was if they needed something from a run, or if she went to visit Maggie at Hilltop.
