I hope you realise that... Minnie."

headboyjamespotter replied to your post:Is there a waiting list for who wants to get detention with you then?

She stares at him with dark, angered eyes and somehow, she manages to keep herself calm. At least in appearance. Inside, she is furious. A storm of emotions from rage to disbelief swell within her and she stares. Her hands are clenched in to fists by her side and for a moment, just a moment, she considers striking him. Using her wand doesn't even cross her mind as she stands from her seat and slowly, begins to walk forward.

The class is silent. Not a word spoken as they stare between herself, and him. Rarely does her anger become obvious and rarely will she lose the calm indifference she keeps a hold of so steadily. Blood red lips part as she attempts to speak but she is so, so angry that a growl tears from her throat instead.
The room is a mess. Furniture broken and papers torn to shreds. Lights spark around her as fire continues to burn but she pays it no mind. She should put it out, but Regina has always had an affinity to heat and it seems to spur her on as she finally speaks. Low and tense, words fall from painted lips as eyes narrow and she backs him up by merely moving forward.
"Ex-cuse me?"
Gone is the woman who simply rolls her eyes and waves her hand in dismiss. Gone is the professor who cares little for harmless pranks and gone is the girl who used to watch the boy as a child. In this moment, she is her mother's daughter and that is evident by the way her magic surges. "Get -- over it?" She sneers at him because he is far from the man she thought he was becoming and he is once again a little boy too immature to be a Potter and she is near certain his parents would be e m b a r r a s s e d.
She would be.
"I ignore most of your little pranks Potter. I turn a blind eye out of curtesy because I know you. I will not turn a blind eye to this. And I will not get over it. It's time you grew up Potter." In her eyes, disappointment takes the place of anger and she turns from him, dismissing him with a wave of her hand and she knows she will not forget this. "Get the hell out of my sight."
Gaze flicking to the two Slytherin's whimpering in the corner of the room and the Gryffindor passed out on the floor, she sighs. Not every prank is funny, and not every prank is safe. James crossed a line and she can only hope his friends were not stupid enough to cross with him. If it were up to her, he'd be expelled for this. But it won't be. Minerva has such a soft spot for her lions and an even softer spot for the Marauder's and Dumbledore is no better.
"Take them to the infirmary."
Her words bark from her lips as she flicks her arm out and her wand appears in her hand. So much damage had been done to her class and she cringes as fire licks at her hand. "Aguamenti."
'Get over it'? Unlikely.
;out- changing regina's animagus form. i did have her as a cougar ( *snorts* ) but i've decided to change her to a fox. because of obvious reasons.
