“You, the alpha, are cooking for me?” (subsett)

“What? It’s nothing fancy, just cheese on toast.” Tendō waved the other’s question away as he moved around the small kitchenette, making said meal.

Being a lone Alpha could be hard at times, especially between jobs at willing Packs. Not that he complained, it was his choice. Kinda... It was hard for him to fit in with Packs, his heightened sense of smell put everyone off, and they just couldn’t accept him. Sure there was some time he spent with a group of other roving Alphas, but it wasn’t really his scene... A part of him still wanted to fit into a Pack, somewhere he could really call home.
It was raining, and Tendō had taken shelter in a bus stop, the constant thudding of raindrops on its roof somewhat soothing. Scents were mingles and dulled, even to his nose in this heavy rain. The monster was drenched, not having an umbrella or raincoat, all he had was the clothes in his back and what he had on his back. Everything was probably drenched... Red hair wet, sticking to his face, Tendō probably looked rather worse for wear. Not that he cared, he’d seen worse...
Off in the distance, a figure approached the stop.
