As I work a lot, my trips are almost always business trips. But it's still small trips and as a vegan, I have to constantly look for hotels that will not be too far from my venue and at the same time not too far from "vegan-friendly" restaurants or grocery stores! ;-) This week we went to Montreal. I love it, because the vegan restaurants grow like mushrooms and the city is beautiful! Here we found a charming inn on St-Denis, the Auberge du Carré St-Louis. Good thing we didn't have too much luggage, as 3 floors walk through rustic stairs, a chance the walls were close to each other, but once there, a lovely room with kitchenette, very clean, quiet and comfortable. We loved it! And for meals, on St-Denis we have so many choices! Breakfast at the inn, juice, bagel and fruits. For lunch, we had a meal already planned during our meeting at the ITHQ, but for dinner, we indulged with the famous Herbivore's poutine! :-) __________________ Comme je travaille beaucoup, mes voyages se résument presque toujours à des voyages d'affaire. Mais ça reste néanmoins de petits voyages et en tant que végane, je dois constamment rechercher des hôtels qui ne seront pas trop loin de mon lieu de rendez-vous et en même temps pas trop loin de restos ou épiceries "vegan-friendly" ! ;-) Cette semaine nous sommes allés à Montréal. J'adore, car les resto véganes y poussent comme des champignons et que la ville est belle ! Ici nous avons trouvé une charmante auberge sur St-Denis, l'Auberge du Carré St-Louis. Bon il fallait ne pas avoir trop de bagages, car 3 étages à pied dans des escaliers rustiques, une chance que les murs était près l'une de l'autre, mais arrivés tout en haut, une charmante chambre avec cuisinette, très propre, calme et confortable. Nous avons adoré ! Et pour les repas, sur St-Denis on a le choix ! petit déjeuner à l'auberge, jus, bagel et fruit.
