Green and Gray

“Dear god...”
Even when he half expected for the worst, the young Gray King found himself in utter shock as he gazed upon the massive crater that had now formed all thanks to a Damocles Down. He had hoped to arrive in time to stop it, but now all his clansman had lost their lives along with thousands of others. The once bustling city had been wiped out in a matter of seconds...
“Is anyone out there?! Anyone at all!”
Carefully sliding down the slope he didn’t waste any time attempting to search for survivors, halting in his tracks once he caught sight of a poor child crushed under debris. Under the slim hopeful chance that he might still be alive Loqi didn’t waste any time using his powers to carefully free him, only to freeze once he realized this was his own brother.
“Prompto...”
Falling to his knees as he gazed at his blood soaked shirt and the all to obvious impalement he had suffered he could only cry softly as he held his corpse close. He was now an absolute failure of a big brother. If he had been paying better attention to him then he could have told him not to play in his area, but even with his powers he had failed to protect him. What was even the point of being a King now?
It was the green glow that suddenly enveloped his brother that paused his sniffling and made him blink in confusion. His wounds were healed before his eyes, and the green sword of Damocles manifested in the sky. Even when Prompto opened his eyes Loqi was speechless.
