I'm finally getting to this hello. Saoirse (Serr-shuh) Kelly is my hunter OC for IDV. She's the Instructor because she was a teacher for children.
The children she helped were mostly kids with disabilities or kids with parents who couldn't afford school! Teaching already doesn't pay much, and it didn't pay much in the early 1900s either. In turn, she'd pay for the supplies she needed by working as an exotic dancer, among other things. Eventually a client she had wanted a refund after not enjoying what he got, and when she couldn't pay him back (spent it on supplies already), he burned down her place of work with her and the kids inside.
This is why her eyes are shut! She got burned so badly across the face she can't see, and the ghosts of her kids help pull her around. She takes them to the manor for a second chance and a quieter place to learn between games. She likes the survivors, but they're below her kids in terms of importance, so she'll walk over them to win regardless of it making her feel a little bad.
I like her kit but I'd have to visualize it to make it make sense.
