Me and my frens talking about religion over dinner during our most recent vacation:

Promiscuous Non-Practicing Mormon Fren: "Damn. I could do better. I could definitely be a better mormon." 😬

Orthodox (Practicing) Christian Fren: "I try my best to go through life in a way the Lord would be proud of." 😇

*frens look @ me, the *spiritual/no church* Protestant*

Me: "God made me - " *gestures at self* "like this. He knows what he did." 😅

Let’s cross the lake safely with mama

Today we're going to Cefalù, where there is a stunning Temple of Diana. Sometimes life can be good.

My wife and I are and wrapping a wonderful little vacation. We explored a new city, ate some great food, we saw friends.

It's the first I'd say real deal of 'travel' we've done since we've gotten married, and travel aside I'd say it's the first time we've ever done a vacation where we didn't have to worry about every cent spent. A vacation, relatively, challenge free.

It was nice. It was refreshing. My wife loved it and I want to do it with her again.

But while it was great, what I can't wait for the most right now is for us to be home, in our own bed tonight.
