Every face in every hall Ive walked holds a memory. They make feeling hollow. It's that I've done everything and met so many types of people. After you feel something for the first time, it is never as vibrant as it once was. Betrayal is tolerable. Love is expendable. Hate is just stretched out. And get this, we're still unoriginal... How do adults live knowing what awaits them. Normality. Not their role in society, but that they have to feel until feeling becomes bland. It is maddening that nothing lasts, and so my desperation in finding a purpose turns into an aimless fury. When I have no energy left for anger I sit in the dark and despair. -2015 Brutus
