Wait I was doing timeline research for a fanfic and TRAGICALLY the timeline doesn’t match up for Sebastian and Nathaniel to hook up in Starkhaven😭 Because Sebastian was sent to the chantry in 9:22 and Nathaniel was squired to Ser Rudolphe in the Free Marches for 8 years, and if he returns in 9:31 then that means he left in 9:23

That’s so frustrating, especially because according to the wiki Ser Rudolphe spent a lot of time in Starkhaven serving the Vaels. HOWEVER! That does open up possibilities of Nathaniel hearing a lot about Sebastian without ever meeting him, because he showed up in Starkhaven right after Sebastian was sent to the chantry, and all hot gossip he initially heard was about the recent development of the prince’s son getting exiled, and why.

And that could be hilarious when they finally meet in Act 3 and Sebastian is like “I have no idea who you are but wow a grey warden! That’s so cool!” And Nathaniel is like “Wtf how am I supposed to just talk to this guy and have a normal conversation when I have heard detailed accounts from some of his former lovers about all the crazy sex they had with him.”

Now that authors are revealed, I can share the fics I wrote for the Black Emporium Exchange ( @black-emporium-exchange )! BE is a rare pair exchange, so all fanworks have to be for ships with less than 300 works on AO3 (<500 works and other restrictions on Rook ships). I had so much fun writing for this exchange and ended up at around 13.6k written after a long period of not being able to write anything.
