Although reluctant to meet the cub at first or to even entertain the thought of keeping him Sebastian soon becomes very attached and protective of him because he has been so mistreated.
Once they return to London Sebastian complains about Vagara being on the furniture and especially on his bed but he soon gives in and even allows it to happen when Xan isn’t there.
Sebastian also frequently buys Vagara toys, blankets and treats, he tries to act as though he was just passing the shop and the item caught his eye but in reality he will actually go out of his way to buy nice things for Vagara.
