SORRY sorry i know i'm asking this a million years later but uh. i'm a dumb ass and i need to know what dazai's reply was in liquid bravery; romantic honesty? ( aka my favourite fic of all time thank u for writing this masterpiece )

Hi there nonny! No need to be sorry about being curious, I’m so touched and glad that you like my little blurb so much, thank you!!! 

Anyways, in relation to that, Dazai’s words in that moment… to put shortly, it was always meant to be a blank space for whatever the reader envisioned Dazai would say. 

Hear me out, I understand how that sounds, but when I wrote that my muse for Dazai was quite scattered because of the many fics I gathered inspiration from!! It’s obvious to see that enigmatic as he is, he’s a character that many of us have very subtle differences in imagining. I liked the idea of letting that stay open because I truly admire that he’s a character with so many possibilities when it comes to the reply LOL would he be gleeful and rude like a walking shitpost? Would he sound possessive, or maniacal, like the Dazai I wrote in OoOF? It’s really up in the air! 

So that’s how it is, dear nonny! BUT, if you’re asking what I personally think went down, well. I was laying it thick with the kind of romantic twinkle-in-the-eye Dazai I liked a lot back in the day (CAN YOU BLAME ME HAHA) so it was probably something so sappy… so syrupy…… something like “I’ll love you for the rest of it too,” or like, “I hope to be worthy of that love.” like whoa??? Whoa. 

In other news I’m a trashy trash can and I love this ask and I love whoever sent it THANK U NONNY U MADE MY WHOLE WEEK MONTH YEAR CENTURY BLESS YOU I HOPE YOU FIND A HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL OFF THE FLOOR AND CUTE PUPPIES RUSH TO YOUR FEET BECAUSE THEY SENSE YOUR INNER WORTH!!!
