Note: If you’re here for romantic Aizen/Shinji or any Hinamori/Shinji specifically (I vaguely remember Kubo mentioning that Shinji and Momo developed a sort-of faminal relationship [don’t quote me on that] so I don’t ship them), I’m sorry, this post isn’t what you’re looking for. Kind of like an Old Guard AU (probably unintentionally, the concept isn’t exactly unique to Old Guard but you get the idea) where the Visoreds are normal people except they’re also functionally immortal— if they die, they’ll come back. Aizen, a serial-killer, discovers this and has a grand ol’ time breaking Shinji into itty bitty pieces. It’s basically hurt/no comfort and as close as I’ve found to a Shinji whumpfic. Delicious.
